Casino Slot Bonuses (Tied to Game Providers or a Slot Game)

We know that casino bonuses are very limited among our local South African casinos, as most bonuses are sports bonuses, and most of us are slot players.

However, when we receive casino slot bonuses, they are typically tied to a specific provider or game. Why are these casinos doing this? If I claim 100% or 50% bonus, I want to be able to play any slot from all providers. Seriously, they need to look into this, as I do not understand the implementation of this restriction.

Your thoughts?

Hi Fiekie,

This is a vital subject! Thanks for bringing it up for discussion.

Some outfits don't restrict your bonus usage, and they are:

1. 10Bet
2. Lulabet
3. Yesplay

However, players need to be cautious because there are numerous bonus traps available in South Africa. A typical example of this is the 'Maximum Cashout' rule, which is applied to your bonus. Some of our local bookmakers are audacious enough to say deposit R2000, receive a R2000 bonus, and your maximum cashout is 1 x the bonus amount. To top it off, they apply a 30x wagering requirement to the bonus.

Whilst the above-mentioned bookmakers do not have the best wagering on their bonuses, their bonuses do not add a trap where you are restricted to how much you can cash out or which games you can play.

I do not play with bonuses in general, largely because, as you pointed out, there aren't many good offers for South African players. I also prefer cash, as it's Murphy's law that I win early and have to spend all my winnings finishing the wagering.

Yup

I think that Max Cashout is what gets to me, especially with Betshezi. Your max cashout is 1x the bonus amount received after 30x wagering.

I still would like to understand the reason why you give me a 100% match for Pragmatic and Booming games only.

Bonuses like the ones offered by Betshezi are extremely player-unfriendly.

I would not recommend taking any bonuses at Betshezi - you are far better off playing with cash.

WRT the provision of specific bonuses, it's not uncommon for these types of bonuses. In general, they are used when bookmakers want to increase the play on specific providers.

Edited to add: Some of the software providers may also sponsor the bonuses/tournaments.
