In yet another hit and run from a UK Bookmaker, Boylesports has unceremoniously packed its bags and ditched the South African market. Players trying to access the site are now met with nothing but a vague message - not even the courtesy of a proper goodbye or explanation from the bookmaker. This hasty retreat comes fresh on the heels of fellow UK operator Fafabet, who also abandoned South African customers in November 2024. These market exits are starting to look like a concerning pattern of UK bookmakers ghosting their SA customer base.
In a post on Instagram, they stated:
Please be informed that BoyleSports will cease operations in South Africa on January 10th 2025 at which point you will no longer be able to access your account from this date.
We kindly ask you to withdraw your funds before the 10th of January
Social media has gone silent too - even a frustrated customer's question on Instagram got the cold shoulder from Boylesports. Rather ironically, it seems one local punter's wish on Hello Peter has manifested sooner than expected. Talk about being careful what you wish for!
***le Sports Shoudl leave SA
***le Sports came to South Africa with great hopes, as a regular punter on online sports betting, let me tell you they are going to crash very soon. Like so many great companies, they have hired below average staff, who have no clue what they are speaking about. ***le sports run a promotion, 5% back of your losses for the week, only bets on racing, sports, keno and lotto count, but if you win on any other type of offer, example roulette, they penalise your cash back bonus, You cannot earn cash back on roulette but you can lose the cash back. this is not even stated clearly in their terms. they manipulate clients with the rules on first deposit bonus, you have to bet 3 times your deposit amount to get the first deposit bonus, only betting company in SA to do this. I suggest you stay away from them, rather stick to the big names
Boyle's mysterious vanishing act from the market speaks volumes about their approach to business - leaving their reputation in tatters and raising serious questions about their reliability. When a bookmaker sneaks out the back door without so much as a farewell note, it tells you everything you need to know about their commitment to their customers.
While we give it to them that they may have notified existing players - it's not cool to dump a notice to email them and jog off into the sunset.
